Polling Data Analysis – Subgroup analysis

Polling Data Analysis.Beyond the overall horse-race, analyzing results among various subgroups helps identify core support as well as expose potential weak areas.  In a hypothetical race, where Candidate A is receiving 55% of the vote, you can see in the graph below that further analysis among race, age, and party identifies some possible areas of vulnerability.  The size of the bubble represents the size of the demographic subgroup, and the percent next to the bubble represents the percent of voters who are voting for Candidate A.
